Dave,

Thanks for the reply. I honestly don't know if I have a callsign issue - I never mentioned that problem. How would I know if my callsign needs to be verified?

I have 23 unclaimed DNS records - and I'll need to edit a few of them afterwards.

We are working through the tickets.  We did not anticipate the huge flood of tickets since the portal went up. We have added additional members of the TAC to work through the Callsign and Address verification tickets. Tickets related to other things are handled by staff.

We use access to records of FCC, RAC, and QRZ.com and other online resources we can find. But we are NOT spending any extra time trying to match records. If we find any conflicting information, we are simply rejecting the application. At this time, we are not going to send out post cards or use other methods to verify addresses. Mainly due to the costs involved. The cost of sending out a simple post card, is typically over $2. There are hundreds of addresses needing verification.

I have to admit I’ve been surprised by the number of folks that requested verification of an address that does not agree with their license.

So if you have a pending address or callsign verification request, make sure all the public databases agree with your request.

FYI

I am also getting rejections from the mailing list as of Friday May 10th. I still haven't received a response about the 23 tickets that are pending and unassigned - which is seems are needed to do my normal annual DNS work (BTW - which seems will require MORE tickets).

I must be honest, this is getting insane. This normally takes 1 hour - and nobody is responding to me who previously took responsibility for administering everything (i.e. Chris). This process has been the same for over 10 years, now I can't even get a response.

- can someone PLEASE respond with that's going on
- again, I am willing to help/work - because I am not willing to wait for something we usually did in 1 hour or less and so

Should I just notify my government sponsor that something's going on - is ARDC defunct or something?

This is becoming pressing and if 44net is not available for Amateur use, this section needs to know.
