I'm also finding myself in the same situation with the Gmail MXes trying to deliver to ardc.net

SORBS is frequently very heavy-handed in their blocklisting to the extent that I only really find it useful for scoring rather than allowlist/blocklisting.

Maybe try Spamhaus zen instead?
