Hey Everyone,
Below are some updates from this week regarding 44Net:
As of today,
About 66 new tickets are in the queue.
About 157 tickets are open and awaiting response.
51 are awaiting response from the user.
40 are awaiting response from an ARDC admin.
Since April 3, we have closed 958 tickets.
We’ve recently had more requests to share statistics that provide more information on the rate at which tickets are opened and closed: we are currently working on developing code to provide these stats, and we will be sharing these metrics once we have them.
We are looking for folks that would be interested in a code review (Laravel experience required) and pen testing of the portal. If you’re interested, please let Adam KC7GDY know via email (adam@ardc.net).
We are currently taking roll to identify our active regional coordinators. If you are an active regional coordinator and would like to remain in the role, please also let Adam KC7GDY know via email.
We are hiring for the roles of Administrative & Marketing Associate and Grants Associate. If you’re interested in applying for either of these roles, send a resume and cover letter to hr@ardc.net and be sure to send all files (including a cover letter) as separate PDF attachments without spaces in the name (e.g., jane-doe-cover-letter.pdf). Please note that Grants Associate applicants selected for interviews will be asked to provide a writing sample. To learn more about these roles, check out the below blog posts:
Administrative & Marketing Associate: https://www.ardc.net/ardc-is-hiring-administrative-marketing-associate/
Grants Associate: https://www.ardc.net/ardc-is-hiring-a-grants-associate/
As many of you have asked about ways to help with the portal: if you come across something in the portal documentation - https://wiki.ampr.org/wiki/Portal_intro - that’s not clear or intuitive, or if you have other feedback, please let us know at newportal@ardc.net. Also note that wiki updates can be made directly if you have an account on wiki.ampr.org. If you don’t have a wiki account and would like one, you can request an account setup by emailing wiki@ampr.org.
As always, let us know if you have any questions!
73 and have a great weekend,
Rebecca
