I would use the term "corporate" maybe?

More so on topic - someone did respond about the tickets. Since they didn't really address who they were and their position or authority, I won't mention the call/name. They also explained why they wouldn't process 20 remaining tickets. Again, their comments are contrary to the policy I'm aware of, so I won't mention it. Oddly, I keep being made aware of different policies in private emails than are document for all to see - odd. I assumed it would be forthcoming soon (given they understand the pressing nature of my requests - having waited nearly a week to be told something novel and confidential). If you browse to domains > ampr.org  on the Portal and search "kb3vwg" comparing the 2 "claimed" records, it will reveal why the 18 perhaps are on hold - I didn't comprehend the person TBH. Lastly, another was assigned to the Portal admin to address a bug with text clearing from the box if you attach a file to a draft ticket.

I will note that in their discussion - as with everyone I read in authority or employed - it seems AMRPNet is a burden to ARDC, yet they inherited their wealth from the network. I'm starting to gather you're correct - the "corporate" part of ARDC is being worked on more than the AMPRNet aspect. As much is noted here: https://www.ardc.net/about/ - they openly admit to  having other primary functions (the "Grant Program" is implied to be the second perhaps, but note how they got funding for that function). I hope staff are more sensitive to users when addressing them about the network.

---

It's clear from browsing to http://ampr.org - aside from its redirected to ARDC, I've looked over and over. Slowly I see less to explain what "AMPR" actually is. Officially, you are referred to the Wiki.

Rationale for comment - I suggest more about AMPRNet be added about it.

I hope this makes clear to all why I wanted to collaborate with those on a Wiki Group Reflector - rather than just a single admin in a private email. I finally discovered how to email the group today. Who to contact would then become more clear.

Again, people are willing to help - I've attempted to volunteer for years - it's clear now that mentioning it again is useless (just as the other operator who noted they tried to volunteer as well). We must not meet their selection process. Albeit I'll admit, the process has changed at least 3 times since I've tried to volunteer and now differs depending on committee. I digress noting again that it's wrong those persons are not listed as Alumni of the TAC - especially having used the Wireguard (and other) discussions for the network.

I think it’s not amateur ownership going forward. I think it’s commercial now. We know it sold a part of our allotment and who own it now?
I wait.. what other things can we do. Can you wait one more week. The board will be in open session at Dayton amateur radio festival.
Wait till that day and maybe things will be different?

FYI

I am also getting rejections from the mailing list as of Friday May 10th. I still haven't received a response about the 23 tickets that are pending and unassigned - which is seems are needed to do my normal annual DNS work (BTW - which seems will require MORE tickets).

I must be honest, this is getting insane. This normally takes 1 hour - and nobody is responding to me who previously took responsibility for administering everything (i.e. Chris). This process has been the same for over 10 years, now I can't even get a response.

- can someone PLEASE respond with that's going on
- again, I am willing to help/work - because I am not willing to wait for something we usually did in 1 hour or less and so

Should I just notify my government sponsor that something's going on - is ARDC defunct or something?

This is becoming pressing and if 44net is not available for Amateur use, this section needs to know.
