Steve
You did not say if they must be ?
I applied and was denied.(John was a great man). So I am biased. In all my effort I was not accepting where grants went to when I was denied. Maybe we first need to see where grants are going to non experimental radio operators ( being called hams or amateurs are not in the intent of cooperating) I actually found it sad to see where.
We need past ampr people to be on the board and to discuss before we bring problems onto the public.
(Nov?)
I will not walk away from Ampr and don’t expect to be banned. But we all know NOV has. It’s not a hobby and never has been after 911 when our abilities where taken away with also all our investments and hardware and friendships and yes credit and credibility and credentials. Long live experimental radio. We give !
Hello

ARDC’s activities and especially grants (such as scholarships) aren’t solely related to Amateur Radio.

Shouldn't a volunteer for an amateur radio related organization actually
have an amateur radio license _before_ volunteering? Otherwise the group
gets diluted by those who don't know what being an amateur radio license
holder and active participant is all about.
"An amateur radio license OR a technical degree OR experience in digital
communications is required to serve in any volunteer role."
