Hey Everyone,

Below are some updates from this week regarding 44Net:

As of today,

Since April 3, we have closed 2,378 tickets.

We are looking for folks that would be interested in conducting a code review (Laravel experience required) and pen testing of the portal. If you’re interested, please let Adam KC7GDY know via email (adam@ardc.net).

We are currently taking roll to identify our active regional coordinators. If you are an active regional coordinator and would like to remain in the role, please also let Adam KC7GDY know via email.

Our next Regional Coordinators Meeting will be on Thursday, September 5, 2024 from 3 - 4:30p PDT / 10 - 11:30p UTC. If you are a Regional Coordinator and would like to attend, please RSVP using the Groups.io calendar of the 44Net Coordinators Subgroup (https://ardc.groups.io/g/coordinators) to receive the Zoom link or email contact@ardc.net.

We are hiring for the roles of Administrative & Marketing Associate and Grants Associate. If you’re interested in applying for either of these roles, send a resume and cover letter to hr@ardc.net and be sure to send all files (including a cover letter) as separate PDF attachments without spaces in the name (e.g., jane-doe-cover-letter.pdf). Please note that Grants Associate applicants selected for interviews will be asked to provide a writing sample. To learn more about these roles, check out the below blog posts:

As many of you have asked about ways to help with the portal: if you come across something in the portal documentation - https://wiki.ampr.org/wiki/Portal_intro - that’s not clear or intuitive, or if you have other feedback, please let us know at newportal@ardc.net. Also note that wiki updates can be made directly if you have an account on wiki.ampr.org. If you don’t have a wiki account and would like one, you can request an account setup by emailing wiki@ampr.org.

Finally, be sure to check out our August Newsletter for our most recent news and updates: https://www.ardc.net/?na=view&id=80. If you’d like to subscribe to the newsletter, you can fill out the form and click ‘Subscribe!’ here: https://www.ardc.net/about/newsletter/

As always, let us know if you have any questions!

73 and have a great weekend,

Rebecca
