In my example, how can I get 254.98.44.in-addr pointed at my DNS servers? I
don't see an ability to do this via the portal page.
I understand I can make DNS entries for ampr.org and have those mapped, but
not everyone is going to use ampr.org. I use kb9mci.net, and yes it's down
now, I'm moving boxes around and hamradio takes a back seat to travel for work :(

Unless I'm missing something, that has to be in the portal on a per IP basis.
With SWIP you can designate a different DNS server for a subnet. (well
actually it's arin updating the DNS records keyed off swip, but same difference).
Is there a way to do this in the portal now?
I didn't want to put down the portal service, but I was just saying that it
might be easier to let ARIN do the updates for us than to run our own rwhois
server. If we can do it, sure rwhois is great, but we're not
changing/updating more than a few records a month, are we?

I would like to see that the portal.ampr.org get shut off until that
all co-coordinators and owner, have the ability to changed networks that
were submitted. I have a request to change the netmask from a /29 to a /26.
All co-coordinators and the owner of the 44 network, for lack of
words, are lock out from doing any changes.
From my understanding is where the encap.txt file is being generated.
