Actually, there is a catch about the ROS version. While the script disables neighbor discovery on the automatically created tunnels, the base tunnel to the gateway has to be set up manually. In older version, MNDP was enabled by default. Somewhere around 6.35 it changed to be default disabled. So it is probable that these gateway started to operate with those older versions, and that setting remained they where (a firmware update will not alter the settings, even if they are default ones).

When you are using Marius' automatic tunnel configuration script, you won't appear there. It disables the MNDP transmission on the tunnels. What you see in that list is only those routers where an IP tunnel to the new gateway was manually configured and MNDP was not turned off.
