Hi Jean!
Regarding your call, I believe ampr-ripd has a parameter you can set with
your call, ssid and grid. I think it also has a conf in /etc where you can
set call_home. That would cause it to show up on yo2loj's map.
I expect the suggested troubleshooting tips here apply to ampr-ripd:
While the article is titled fedora 40, that's only relevant in that the os
packages are very up to date compared to what you might find in other
distributions.

Hi Jean,
Are you running this project on linux?
http://www.yo2loj.ro/hamprojects/.
Presumably so.
Yes I do,
Using tcpdump you should see routes being pushed to you pretty quickly. It
takes around an hour for the ampr gateway to learn about your node and
start passing your traffic.
Yes I see all the routes coming to me no problem mostly junk.

but when I try to connect a station, nothing is happening, just time out.
root@ve2pkt:/usr/local/sbin# ping

Also, the ampr-ripd daemon will write occasionally to yo2loj which you can
look up here:
http://yo2loj.ampr.org/. What do you have your call_home
configured to? You can see these with tcpdump, also.
Not sure I understand the question, but my call is VE2PKT.
I can't recall why now but I ended up using yo2loj's amprd rather than his
ampr-ripd. Actually I've stopped using both and switched over to the beta
wireguard 44net tunnel.
might switch to amprd, will keep poking around for a little while, and
will do some reading on amprd, hard to find good examples.
Thanks for your replie.

Hi,
Anyone here using ampr-ripd willing to give me some advise?
I have mine running and (Finally) learning router, but cannot connect to
any stations.
I suspect a route problem.
