I appreciate the reply. Thank you.
It's not up to me to say that you should not scan the entire AMPRnet
tree, but could you at least omit me from your scan. Is seems to be
still running.
I'm not sure it is the best thing to do this, in a way it's like running
a scan on the entire internet (well, not quite but you know what I mean).
I do scans on my local subnets here at work, but I'm not so sure it would
be a good or wise or whatever decision to scan the entire network at the
university where I work. For sure, a top level network manager would be
contacting me quickly and telling me to stop. Unless it was approved
in advance.
Just my two cents worth.
