All,
I also wanted to note, that solves all issues, it simply holds us to
something Marius, Tom and myself were discussing:
- We in-fact have a 'physical' mesh network, but our routing scheme has
us beholden to a star topology where the AMRGW is its 'logical master'.
I actually LIKE this scheme, and it could lend to 'slave/hot-standby
logical masters.' In an emergency with our master server/router, another
is ready to take over should it go offline.
- I think all other schemes should be voluntary. I do agree we should
work on a good logical mesh routing protocol, while embracing our
current, working and 100% operational network.
