Hello Ronen,
My group has deployed an NPR system here in the Bay Area, California
with good success. For various reasons, I put a Raspberry PI with IP
Masquerade front the NPR modem and connected clients to provide some
level of security protections as well as provide a landing page for
users to connect to via TELNET and HTTP for more information about the
service. The service is reliable and I've setup some monitors on the
system as well to see who is connected, etc. We get about 50-53Kbps
using the modulation "20" setting as that's the only legal setting for
HAMs in the United States. Latency is a bit all over the map due to
how the NPR's protocol functions so real time needs like VoIP, etc.
won't work well but everything else works ok.
