With the mention that using the latest ampr-ripd (1.11) you can use your
encap IP entry to exclude your range using the -a option
(ip without trailing zeros according to the netmask + '/' and netmask,
exactly as they appear in encap.txt):
e.g. -a 44.182.20/24
