Bdale,
I think I can hopefully say for all of us that your response is very much
appreciated and we are all sending our respects.
Hope everything goes well and everything goes smoothly.

As we need to push on with out him, it's

succession for everything that Brian did.
Hi David. All of us on the ARDC board were shocked and saddened by
Brian's utterly unexpected, sudden passing.
We had already begun processes to try and relieve Brian of some of the
burden he accumulated over the years, which included technical, legal,
financial, and administrative roles on behalf of 44net and ARDC.
Unfortunately, most of those efforts were still in formative stages. He
and I were in the midst of processing some paperwork associated with my
expanding role as Treasurer at the time he passed, as one small example.
So .. your question is one of several that we're trying to develop
appropriate answers for in parallel, despite our collective deep
emotional distress. I don't like the fact that I can't give you a crisp
answer to your question(s) today, but the ARDC board is meeting weekly
as a group and chasing down items individually in parallel until we can
get through the various succession issues.
Please give us a little time. I know "we're working on it" isn't a
very
satisfying state of affairs, but it's the truth. I'll make sure
announcements are made as soon as there are useful answers to share.
