I don't know if there has now been added functionality, but I have tried this in the
past and as far as I remember it is a Pi image with some hamradio oriented software
already pre-installed. It has a webserver with some standard items, etc.
So it is not intended to function as a router, more as an application server.
But maybe all of that has changed... I don't see a description of what it actually
is
on the download site.
What you require to connect and route will depend on how you want to make your
connection. What you want installed on the system depends on what you expect it
to do. So such generic images do not always fit.
A PC or Pi with Debian can do everything you may want, at least when you have the
skills to install and configure it.

Hello,
- Did anyone successfully install HamPi_v3.1_32bit.img.xz with an PI?
No boot with me.
- Is there an hamradio that actually and really uses an PI on the Hamnet network or is
it a "Fake" ?
What is your best solution to use HAMNET ?
An repackaged old PC with a Debian ?
Any ideas ?
I’d like to use something other than a Mikrotik :-)
