Gus,
In my case, I observed that when I initiated connections from a 44 address assigned to my
tunl0, that it improperly encapsulates with the same destination IP on both the Inner and
Outer Packet.
My workaround is to never initiate connections (such a ping, traceroute etc.) from my
tunl0 interface, I always use a downstream device.
