Albert,
Can you describe the service you're actually experiencing issues with?
I'm still seeing losses mainly in the Cenic routers at Los Angeles when running
commands like 'mtr -u -P 12252 gw.ampr.org' - nearly up to 30%.
Oddly, I'm not having much loss e.g. with real traffic inside the tunnel. I was able
to glean more information observing a video stream with Wireshark. I'm noticing the
packet loss in the direction TOWARD AMPRGW. It doesn't appear that packets are being
lost more so from AMPRGW towards my gateway.
I observed this by looking at the packets in the stream - I see a TCP packet labeled from
the from the far end "TCP Previous Segment is not captured" and sometimes
subsequent out-of-order - plus duplicate ACK errors from the local side.
I do see few "TCP ACKed unseen segment" from remote hosts - which indicated
drops inbound. These came from a few hosts not related to the stream.
