SIP over AMPRnet is something that I would like to see as we can use Asterisk
to interface to a radio as the Codec2 from the FreeDV world is already one
that can be incorporated into Asterisk. Imagine, a ham only intercom system
using 9k6 SIP packets in case the local phone and cell system goes down as
happened in areas of NYC, LI and NJ from Hurricane Sandy.
actually making SIP work really well over amprnet
would be cool.
