Well you never know with ipip tunnels :-) For all sceptics out here who belive I do not source nat correctly, see the attached pcap of this specific DNS query from my true hamnet ip address to 44.0.0.1. I wonder, what happens when anyone else is tracerouting or pinging back to me: 44.142.162.123 are you getting through?
