It probably could, if someone with sufficient Linux knowledge were willing
to dedicate the time and effort to doing so. That person is not me.
It would have to be an all-new design as the current router is implemented
in user space and uses kernel features of FreeBSD that Linux doesn't have.
It wouldn't port.
