Well, it becomes difficult to troubleshoot if other stations will not
assist. Thanks Bob, you are the first station since I last tested that
also noted an inability to ping me.
Marius, the reason I asked is because the last time I tested, it was
determined some stations were using other protocols and simply saying "I
can't ping you." You then mentioned these were NetRom connections. I am
left to assume that you ARE using ICMP Echo Request over IPv4 unless you
confirmed.
The reason I am asking what Network OS is being used is to make a list
of all stations I have attempted to ping, and compare their NOS to the
list of problems or reported lack of connectivity to my station. I was
trying to determine if you are using Debian or some other network software.
Not every station uses the same software suite or Operating System, just
as you mentioned "full-fledged" means something different to all
stations. In fact, I am now curious about AMPR IPv6 allocations, I did
not know they were available.
