If your host offers the service (not all of them
do), they would know how
to answer your question right off the top of their head. It is very
important to keep them on the air and widely known.
Vultr.com, for example
is 20473, regardless of the site you choose.
Keep in mind there is a non-trivial amount of configuration work they have
to do, to make it work. If they cannot tell you what their ASN is, they
probably do not offer the service.

Hi Guys,
I am trying to locate two pieces of information to be able to complete
my BGP
request.
This seems to be more of a challenge then I
though it would be. Is there
a reference page or
wiki that I can provide to my ISP to be able to
locate this information.
We have been dealing with these two questions for over 2 weeks. I am not
sure if
the ISP or the
NSP know exactly what we are looking.
From what I understand the ASN is just a number. No letters involved in
this
number. Is this true???
Any help in providing information to the NSP would help.
Break Down - I will be connecting to ISP via VPN connection.
The ISP connects to his feed in Houston via I
ATT fiber
connect to his NSP in Houston.
The ISP sell service
to clients in his area.
He has a /6 himself.
Please don't laugh. I am trying to lay this out the best I can. Any help
would
be appreciated.
