Some time back it was brought up to have a whois

Steve,
Yeah I am just waiting on access to the API that I requested on Jun 19th last year,
so that I can run daily queries to gather all the information I need to fully populate the
rwhois server that I built a long time ago. Other then that the rwhois server has been
working great.
Tim, if you’re waiting on access to the API why have you not chased me for it? FYI, the
API is fully documented on the Portal, and access to the API is available to anyone who
has an account on the Portal, so tbh I am not sure what you are waiting for, but making
comments such as above on this mailing list is not particularly helpful.
I don't recall the details of Tim's request last year, but as far as I
can tell the portal API does not have an endpoint that contains all
the data needed for an rwhois server. You would need all of the
allocated networks, not just those with an IPIP gateway in the encap
file.
Coincidentally, this is the same portal API feature I requested on 21
December 2015.
