Agree totally. That
way, I could dedicate an entire /64 to ham radio
applications from my allocation. As you say, we just need a means of
advertising the ham netblocks and automatically configuring filtering.
It should work a lot better than the current 44net does, since we're
simply using normal ISP routing.
As a short-term interim solution, I offer the idea that the easiest
way to do this is to simply fetch the current
AMPR.ORG DNS zone file
and grep the AAAA records out of it. This will do until we come up
with a real method of distributing the IPv6-ham-netblocks information.
