Is this is also reflected in the encap.txt what you can download from
the robot?
a) So every time before I start a download by ftp the dynamic host names
are checked and the encap.txt is adapted?
b) And what about the RIP broadcasts, how many times a day are these
updated?

pester other Gateways having static IPs via AXUDP links?
The portal supports
dynamic IP gateways already. There is a field for IP address or hostname. If you enter a
hostname the IP address is looked up each time the encap is requested.
