I feel that this is necessary because a lot of them don't subscribe to the 44net mailing list, despite my strong recommendation that they do so.

That would be helpful. I have been (mostly) following the discussions here, but because things tend to get a bit fragmented on the mailing list as details come out over time it is difficult for me to follow. Having it all in one email will definitely help, then I can sit down and make all the necessary changes.
