The info here

is ok But it is recommended to add a section that deal with
installing and configuring the IPIP (i didnt knew that default
installation does not have IPIP by native and that it needed to be
installed/
I don't understand. IPIP is a kernel module in which by default is NOT
loaded, but it IS installed. My dotun script loads the module and with
calling just a very few variables loads everything you need to get on
amprnet. Its in use world wide on hundreds of systems.
Now I have wrote mail to the PI TNC manufacturer
here
http://www.tnc-x.com/TNCPi.htm and asked him couple questions prior
to buying one he said he is not expert in ham-radio so he could not
answered all of them so I ask you (the one that have experience with
this Card 1) is it support Jnos ? 2)can it be running as Packet ---
Internet gateway (include Net-Rom and TCP/IP connectivity ? if yes
where a appropriate software can be found and downloaded ? 3) the TNC
does not support 9600 baud /// so is there any PI TNC that support
9600 ? or I should use external TNC for that ? Thanks For any help
I just installed a TNC-X yesterday for MARS. I don't know about JNOS but
for my URONode it was easier plug and play than anything out of Redmond!
So for your questions:
1) It *should* since URONode appears to embrace this TNC.
2) Yes.
3) Not at the moment. I have had discussions with the manufacturer in
Dayton this year and they're close but not quite there yet.

A: They're better organized, their budget is in the black,
and they're more HONEST.
