I discovered that the latest rsync client has a bug as it is fine with Ubuntu 12.04 but it doesn't work with version 14.04 (rsync 3.1.0) if the server runs rsync 3.0.9-12 and newer rsync clients as 3.0.9-12
rsync: connection unexpectedly closed (0 bytes received so far) [Receiver] rsync error: error in rsync protocol data stream (code 12) at io.c(226) [Receiver=3.1.0]
That problem is still not resolved if I search for it.
