Hmm. We saw some unusually high traffic on the link late last week, which I thought might be the culprit, but that's died down, and if the packet loss is continuing, there may be some other issue. I've fired off an email to the UCSD netops guys to see if they know of any problems up at CENIC.

You noted something possible loss along a path. Close to AMPRGW, I notice dc-tus-agg8--lax-agg8-300g.cenic.net is constantly giving me packet loss.
Also CENIC.ear1.LosAngeles1.Level3.net is somewhat dropping (also dc-lax-agg8--lax-agg6-100ge-2.cenic.net).
I'm able to see this loss running with the command 'mtr -u gw.ampr.org' (UDP seems to show more packet loss than 'mtr -T').
