i also get a timeout from hamradio.ucsd.edu:25 so i guess modern
mailers switch to the second record.
Maybe jnos does not support multiple mx records ?

I'm trying to respond to the mailing list server, after registering my
ampr.org
address for membership, but the smtp does not go through. When I try a manual
smtp connection from the JNOS box I get:
