You may wish to setup the Notifications properly.
Once logged in to the AMPR Portal, go ahead and navigate to Account -
Notifications.

Personally, I'm subscribed to all notifications. But you may choose only
(Ticket Assigned, Ticket Updated, Ticket Closed, Ticket Reminder, Ticket
OwnerShip, Ticket Reassigned, Ticket Escalated).

I'm subscribed with both Email and SMS. This is a cool feature and I see
realtime when my tickets are given a response from Chris and I can quickly
enter and submit my response or see the update.

And it works just great, here's how the SMS looks like:

Maybe it helps, but since the new portal, I do not have to keep an eye
daily by logging in on the portal. It's all "turnkey".
