44.4.9.1/30 is invalid. It will not be loaded in the Linux routing table.
NOS accepts it but only because it ANDs the given address with the subnet mask before
putting the entry in the routing table.
So after inserting 44.4.9.1/30 and looking at the resulting routing table you have
44.4.9.0/30
