To your dismay, setting up a MT router to do AMPR routing with autoupdates is IMHO at the same level as setting up a Linux with startampr. Unfortunately these routers are not meant to do P2MP IPIP encapsulation (even if the kernel has in fact everything it needs, the configuration interface does not).
