I too would love to find a solution that is a multi-function system
possible like a Slack, Teams, etc. I've checked out MattersMost but
it's rather heavy weight.

Not sure the best person to approach for this but
I belong to OARC a
online
amateur radio community which is mostly based on
discord.
A little bit off-topic, but :
- Is Discord an open-source software ?
- Can we install and host it on our own servers (on AMPRNet addresses,
of course) ?
- If not, is there any similar open-source software meeting those
requirements ? That would be IMHO an idea of "services" we could provide
on "New Generation Network" :-)
