“ As an aside, the old 44NGN mailing list was retired some months ago due to lack of use. Today I cleared the old membership out and have re-purposed it for the group we are putting together to discuss this topic, as this seemed appropriate.

Hmm, I was on this mailing list but just got unsubscribed, with no explanatory text (when one would normally get if it was due to bounces, etc).
