Hi Guys,
I am trying to locate two pieces of information to be able to complete my BGP request.
This seems to be more of a challenge then I though it would be. Is there a reference page or
wiki that I can provide to my ISP to be able to locate this information.
We have been dealing with these two questions for over 2 weeks. I am not sure if the ISP or the
NSP know exactly what we are looking.
From what I understand the ASN is just a number. No letters involved in this number. Is this true???
Any help in providing information to the NSP would help.
Break Down - I will be connecting to ISP via VPN connection.
The ISP connects to his feed in Houston via I ATT fiber connect to his NSP in Houston.
The ISP sell service to clients in his area. He has a /6 himself.
Please don't laugh. I am trying to lay this out the best I can. Any help would be appreciated.
