[44net] Re: Mailman migration

Nice thing about mailing lists, we all end up with our own archives, and it’s all in a standard format that is readily migrated as needed. Even if it’s hosted on a commercial system, it’s easy to pick up and move if its all in an mbox file or something. When you get into web-first systems, migration becomes a matter of what the vendor might or might not support for import and export. I’m in favor of commercial products that “embrace and extend” open standards.
