If you mean email on ampr.org domain it can be done
I get 4z4zq(a)4z4zq.ampr.org to hotmail via 3rd party service (free) that with appropriate
MX know to catch *.ampr.org and redirect it
I can even read those emails from web interface not only on hotmail

Yes, at a rough guess over half the subscribers are on gmail,
which wouldn't be able to participate if it were net-44 only.
