--- linux.ve2pkt.ampr.org ping statistics ---
78 packets transmitted, 78 received, 0% packet loss, time 181ms
rtt min/avg/max/mdev = 241.571/245.711/263.000/3.316 ms
But the NNTP service is working fine for me here - I hadn't noticed the
packet loss.

I am getting the headers in Thunderbird, but I get timeouts when trying to
read some of the messages.
