I know the portal system will be a better method going forward but the
old allocations need to be reconciled sooner or later. I have a long
list of subnets in 44.18.0.0/16 and I don't have a clue anymore about
who is active or not or who might be becoming active after an absence.
I know of several /24's like KQ6UP and AF6EP that are allocated but
not registered on the portal yet... and these guys are subscribed
here. In Eric's case I know my list is outdated WRT his new callsign
but his DNS is correct.

Chris has been putting
into the portal. The statement "they haven't been properly allocated
to you" is false. It should come with the qualification that they
haven't been allocated to you under the new system.
My comment was made within the context of the portal, I was not suggesting that
allocations made prior to the existence of the portal are invalid.
