As we're a technically savvy bunch, can I ask that
when posting to the
list
with a new message not to reply to another and then change the subject?
This breaks threading and will cause issues when looking at the
archives.
I'm simply asking this as a user of the list who uses a threading MUA.
I'm so happy I'm not the only one suffering from zombie threads that
abruptly change the subject and topic.
Thread hijacking is like transmitting on a frequency that's already
being used by another OM, it's impolite, rude and shows a lack of
respect towards other OMs.
But unlike transmitting on the band there is an easy way to avoid all
that, you just create a new thread by using the "New Message" button in
your email client. It's like a endless band, in case no currently active
thread corresponds to a topic you want to discuss, you just create a new
one by clicking the "New Message" button.
