This appears to be correct, as you mentioned:

I'm unable to ping or traceroute.
When you mention: "It is BGP announced only, and works properly from the public internet, and can reach AMPRGW..." do you mean you're running an IPIP tunnel, or some other way of forwarding packets destined to 44.60.44.0/24, BACK to AMPRGW, or directly to me???
