Using tunnel-connected net-44 servers to supply services to hosts not
on net 44 when those services are available elsewhere is not good use
of the gateway bandwidth. And the amount of jitter that the gateway
introduces as packets cross it may yield unreliable results. NTP is
tolerant but maybe not that tolerant.
Better for hosts to use services on their respective sides of the gateway.
