I see the options to set expirations time in Winbox. Is it ignored? I don't know how
to verify that

No, it is not possible for now. The expiry timers for
RIP in ROS7 can not be adjusted to fit our purposes (i.e. period 5min instead of 20sec,
expiry 15min instead of 1 min).
Is there any thread on the Mikrotik forum mentioning this, so I can bump it?
Thanks

How do I test those parameters? There are a lot of version updates.

I have, it doesn't. The timing parameters simply get ignored.

Hi Marius,
I think it should be able to work in v7: (have not tested it myself)

The tables will populate all right.
The problem is they will clear after 3 minutes if I remember correctly, and not persist to
the next 5 min update period, screwing up the whole concept behind the script about
maintaining the individual dynamic generated tunnels and routes.
I haven't checked the latest ROS7 versions, but that was the main reason why a porting
of the scripts to ROS7 was not possible.

It looks like my Mikrotik’s routing table did updated with all the 44 routes eventhough I
only configured a RIP but no script?
I don’t know how to verify if those routes actually working.

If this will ever be fixed is unknown, since very few people use RIP, let alone adjust the
timers.

The v3.1 scripts are for ROS up to 6.40, and the v3.2 scripts from ROS 6.41 up to the
latest v6 releases.
The scripts do NOT work on ROS 7 due to the fact that the RIP handling changed and the RIP
timers do not work correctly.

Hi
Has anyone setup the IPIP tunnel successfully in Mikrotik? I think the instruction in Wiki
is written for ROS 2.0. Things has changed a lot and I have trouble following. I created
the IPIP tunnel in the interface and not sure what to do next. I added my IP subnet to the
IP tab. The RIP configuration menu is very different now.
