Projects such as HAMWan are community-wide networking.
Are there any mailing lists where people who are actively working on or planning to construct such networks, or should I start one such? - Brian
Ham or non-ham.
There are many non-ham projects each with their own discussion forum..
On the ham side, besides the HamWan list, that's probably the HSMM-MESH (now Broadband-Hamnet) arena and once again there are many.
Wireless-U on Facebook is probably one of the most generic.
