Kun,
I was told that this thread is for technical discussion regarding AMPRNet. The Wiki says "all things AMPRNet". I previously noted this to Chris (since the Wiki group was discouraged) and the ARDC President in the email I was told about technical discussion only. I believe all my emails today were technical in nature, as were all others I saw (unless the subscript issue prevented me from seeing any). If there's disagreement now on basic things such as reflector usage, I agree a code of conduct is necessary.

The code of conduct was reiterated by Rosy on-list on 9 May.

Tom, Does it highlight proper usage of this reflector? Rationale: I've also noted discrimination to ARDC staff and leadership. It's quite confusing to refer to the URL https://www.ardc.net/about/legal/code-of-conduct/%C2%A0- when it says nothing regarding the topic presented. Conclusion (I'm sure there's others who disagree): I note this because Kun's email is the only non-technical email, and I assumed action SHOULD be taken.

The ARDC organization has created a "Code of Conduct", approved on April 7, 2024. Notice that this is after the April 3rd cut-over and the complaints started. https://www.ardc.net/about/legal/code-of-conduct/
Besides the usual soft/play nice words, the basics of it are to not personally attack anyone. This in no way should stop anyone from voicing an opinion about what works or does not work, including procedures, technology, timely communications, etc. Many of us are technologists who have been part of the radio and 44net world for two, three or more decades. We know each other and know how far we can push each other to get something done. In the end, we smooth over the temporary rough spots and move on to the next issue. The newer/younger members of the 44net world are just taken aback to how we have done things compared to their social media and safe space experiences. Not good or bad, but different. Like everything else like the volatility in the stock market, this too will smooth out over time as more information and experiences are shared. This is _not_ the end of the world.

* The code of conduct was approved on April 7, 2023, over a year ago. * It was announced on the 44Net mailing list on April 26, 2023. We received a message from Charles in response to that announcement on the same day.
Many thanks, Rosy
It might seem like 75m but I don't think so.
Nobody is talking about their aches, pains, or meds ....
Trying to inject a little levity into an increasingly contentious atmosphere.

The levity is appreciated. Thank you!
