Many different errors when trying different processes. So, I would like to ask...1st, for those that are cross-compiling, what development environment are you using such as, linux version, the dependencies needed for that environment to work, and what versionof ampr-ripd are we cross-compiling for use in OpenWRT? I would like to build the setup as someone who is successful with these processes.Once that is done, Ill move on to the next step and try my hand at compiling ampr-ripd again for my target device.Baby steps. Thanks for any direction with this...HaroldK7ILO_______________________________________________44net mailing list -- 44net@mailman.ampr.orgTo unsubscribe send an email to 44net-leave@mailman.ampr.org
Ok Lynwood
Ill start there specifically and see where it leads me. I think my main issues are the errors I get and deciphering what they mean.
Thats why i wanted to setup like whats common among the group so in my eye Im comparing apples to apples.
Thanks for the response.

Ok so it seems I was just over-thinking all of this and following too many optional documents out there which can be super confusing. I have my notes now. With that said, it seems like everything is working for me but.....
I get this error: fatal error: bits/getopt_core.h: No such file or directory
When I comment out the #include in ampr.ripd.c, it compiles and i have the executable.
I have not moved it to the target for testing yet because I want to see if this file is needed for the program to operate correctly.
I dont see anything here or on Google except for one that said, comment out the #include but it was about another application using that file.
Thanks again for steering me in the right direction. Ive made more progress in the last hour than I have all week.

Harold,
If you've successfully compiled ampr-ripd, you don't need any further file from the SDK. Simply move to the target and enjoy.
- Lynwood
Lynwood,
Has there ever been an effort to get a pre-compiled package(s) into OpenWRT?
