I have seen a delay of ~20 minutes until you will receive RIP
multicast packets.
Routing will work within the AMPRnet depending on the remote gateway.
RIP44 enabled gateways should receive the routing information to route
packets back to you within a few minutes. Gateways using the encap
file might take longer, depending on their update frequency.
