Has anyone got ampr 44net ipencap working.?
I have a node running Linux/uronode/ax25/netrom/fbb and ampr-ripd. This then feeds into the pfsense box.
AX25/Netrom/fbb are all working fine.
I think I have IPENCAP on the firewall directed to the Node 198Lan address.
All help very happily received.

Yes I have ipencap forwarded by pfsense. The UI doesn’t support adding the rule but the backend does support it just fine, so you need to slightly hack up the UI to add the option so you can set it up.
There are some hints here though they’re a bit old so it might need adapting, but it shows the idea https://forum.netgate.com/topic/57968/enable-protocol-4-and-93-ipip-tunnel/2

Yep. I had to add the protocols to the user interface and then forward the protocols to an internal machine acting as a gateway to get it working. There have been updates to the code since I wrote it but what we're modifying is easily found by searching for it. The way I did it is outlined here:

PFSENSE updates MAY modify the file back so if things break you might need to re-edit the files
