Ok so i sent off to get a /24 however the statement that came back to me was i need to put this under IL so my question is... Is this because i live in IL or because you think i will be routing this from all from IL..
I own several servers around the country I rent and release servers all the time.. I have currently servers in Canada, London and just shut down one in Dallas Texas so what i am trying to say is that all ip's may not be pointed to IL all the time is this an issue? I guess i am kinda confused as to why under IL..
Here is the message. Request rejected. You are located in Illinois, please apply in the Illinois subnet, 44.72.
Loren,
I route my address space via BGP directly, however I was required to request from my geographic larger block. It won’t make any difference to the routing.

I sent you a followup message explaining the rationale for using Illinois as the basis for your allocation: basically it's because locales are chosen for administrative convenience and you happen to live in Illinois.

Ah ok thanks!!! Sorry for the confusion just ready to finally play with some Ham radio ips merging them into existing infrastructure and have a handful to play with for other allstarnode projects..
My apologes for the mis-understanding..
So i am going attempt having these ip's pointed to one ip but if my firewall and routing scenarios don't work is it possible to get the ip block reset to another ip?

It's a pity he/she was in such a hurry, right as I was about to approve their request for allocation when they said it was too much hassle and cancelled the request, and now they have unsubscribed.
That's just weird. - Brian
